I know, I know I'm a day late posting again but life gets in the way sometimes. It was a busy day for lessons again. I was able to get some serious work in on my full swing though. I put some work in with the K-vest to work on my transition sequence and impact position. I also completed my Super Speed Training for the week.
My transition sequence is off and I think that is were I'm losing some speed with the driver. I've got a lot of work to do in the fitness side to make the changes needed to get the sequence right. The stretching program is becoming a daily routine, and should free up some the lower body issues in my swing. My plan to build a small golf specific gym in the store is coming together. I need another free pieces of equipment and it will be ready to go. I still need to finish clearing out the junk but I am able to get some work done going forward.
Club head speed is up a little. I hit 110mph with the driver for the first time in a while, and got the ball out to 295 on the sim. Still a lot of work to do on the speed side of the game but it is nice to see some improvment.
I took Sunday off from practice and training. I'm going to hit the fitness program hard next week. I think its a perfect week to get started because I will not get to play and getting through the first time soreness this week will help. I hope that this fitness routine will provide the needed pop my swing, fingers crossed!
So until tomorrow, KEEP IT IN THE SHORT GRASS!
